With the average 3 bed house taking between 17yrs and 55yrs
to payback the cost of double glazing on their heating bills,
draught proofing your windows at a fraction of the cost is
becoming more and more popular.

At London Sash Window Specialists, we only use replacement
timber beads which are fitted with a discrete integrated
draught excluder brush strip so as not to alter the appearance
of the window. These can be fitted either primed or plain
timber ready for varnishing. This method is approved by
English Heritage and local authority conservation officers.

Draught proofing involves dismantling your sash window and
replacing all the beads with our own timber beads, we will fit
a brush excluder strip where the windows meet in the closed
position and also at the top and bottom of the sash to ensure
a snug position when the windows are closed. We will then
reassemble the window, make good and leave your window
smart and draught free.
