SASH CORDS

Sash cords are a vital part of the sash window.
They are attached to the side of the sash to a
counter weight on the inside of the frame. Due
to wear they can break leaving the window unable
function correctly.

Once broken the cord has to be replaced. To do
this the sash has to be removed from the frame
to gain access to the weight, then a new cord will
be feed over the pulley and cut to the correct
size before being able to reassemble the window
leaving it working as it should for many years to
come.

extremely hard wearing and not susceptible to
perishing or becoming slack over time.
